Upcycling Insulators

Old insulators from old phone poles are so chunky and interesting.  They come in so many colors and can be used in so many ways.

Used in a window as art!  I love this cheerful look!

Formerly used on telephone and electric poles

I have been waiting for Y.E.A.R.S for Jon and Cole to build me a cold frame box, or two, from some of the windows we replaced (and saved) but the opportunity hasn't presented itself yet.  What to do?

Be resourceful!

I use my insulators in the garden to start seeds!
My mini greenhouses "insulate" seedlings until they're big and strong!

Genius!  I wish I thought of it!  Check the link above for the how toos!

You can buy them already made at Remodelista!

Sisters Garden used old garden fence and insulators to make an outdoor chandelier!

The beads and curly wires are so fun on these candle holders!

Endless possibilities!
