My favorite find, other than stretches of cotton fields and Haymens Sweet Potatoes (a mild, white sweet potato that only grows on Virginia's Eastern Shore and the prefered sweet potato of our entire family) was this beautiful chandelier made of found sea glass! I had to share it with you!
One of a kind. Made from the abundance of sea glass that is found by the Eastern Shore of Virgina; it's absolutely the most gorgeous ever!!!
Hopefully some smart shopper, snatched it up before anyone else could lay claim. It sells (or sold) for $800 in a shop called Gallery 209 on Mason Avenue in Cape Charles. The brilliant artist, who dreamed this up, is Laura Pare. We are heading back to Cape Charles this fall, I'm kinda hoping it's not there, so I don't spend my savings in 2 seconds! I just love it!!!
